These beautiful masterpieces are more than an ordinary memorabilia item. "66 and More..." is truly an historical document commemorating the 70th anniversary of Route 66. From 1995 to 1997, the original artwork was hand carried into every post office that still existed on Route 66. Each post mark was inked in its own city.Noted landrunner and postmarkartist, Ken Turmel, accumulated over 28,600 miles in order to acquire all of the special "pictorial postmarks" on Route 66, that were issued by the postal service during that time period. |

Many of these postmarks are no longer available. One post office in particular, in Cadiz, CA., has already closed down, and its postmark is now lost in time. They are individually hand signed and numbered by the artist. These large 2'x3' artworks are produced on museum quality, acid free 80 pound stock. Each print comes with a frame ready hand signed and numbered certificate of authenticity and an informative 18 page summary booklet which explains all the details about the postmarks, postage stamps, guest signatures, and of course good old Route 66.
